Any visa fees, government fees, medical fees, biometrics, travel costs or other official charges must be paid directly by the candidate to the relevant government, embassy, consulate or authorised provider where applicable.

HOW THE PATHWAY WORKS

Assessment before job application

Candidate assessment

Profile matching

Potential roles are matched to the candidate's academic background, qualifications, skills and job experience.

Employer / placement process

Suitable candidates may proceed through employer selection and other recruitment stages. Jobs are seasonal and qualification/experience specific.

Work-permit & visa process

Where a candidate is selected, work-permit and immigration steps follow the rules of the destination country. Visa decisions remain with the competent government authority.

Job availability

Placement timeline

Job placement can take several weeks or months. Timing may depend on employers, recruitment stages, government processing and immigration/consular authorities.

Candidate profile

Travel with dependents

Under this ARFET job-placement pathway, candidates are expected to travel alone initially. Any later dependent application or travel is subject to the destination country's rules and is the candidate's responsibility.

Visa responsibility

ARFET does not issue visas. The embassy, consulate or immigration authority decides whether a visa or immigration permission is granted.

Work-permit responsibility

ARFET may assist with the work-permit-related process within its agreed service scope. The final issuance of a work permit is subject to the competent authority's rules and decision.
