Website Terms and Conditions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of ARFET Global Consultancy Services Ltd (“ARFET”)’s website, online platforms and services where these terms are displayed or incorporated into the relevant customer agreement.
By using a service, submitting an application or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to read the applicable terms. Where affirmative acceptance is required, acceptance must be recorded before the relevant transaction proceeds.
If you do not agree to the applicable terms, you should not use the affected service.
Eligibility and authority
You must provide accurate information and have the legal capacity to enter into the relevant agreement.
A parent or legal guardian must act for a child where legally required. A person acting for a school, company or other organisation confirms that they have appropriate authority to do so.

Enrolment and customer information
Customers must provide accurate and complete information relevant to the service.
ARFET may request reasonable documentation to verify identity, age, parental authority, academic history, eligibility, payment or project requirements.
Customers must promptly notify ARFET of material errors in information supplied.
Fees and payments
Applicable fees, currency, payment deadlines, instalment conditions and any additional charges must be disclosed before purchase.
Unless a service agreement expressly states otherwise, fees cover only the services identified in that agreement.
Examination registration, university application fees, tuition payable to third parties, visa charges, travel costs, equipment, external certification and other third-party expenses are excluded unless expressly included.
Payments must be made through authorised channels. Customers should retain receipts and payment references.
A payment is considered received when confirmed through the authorised payment system or Company records.
Educational programme terms
Programme-specific information may include admission requirements, attendance expectations, timetable, assessment methods, academic progression, examination registration, technology requirements and certificate arrangements.
Students must follow applicable student rules and academic integrity requirements.
ARFET does not guarantee a particular examination result, admission decision, scholarship, employment outcome or external certification.
Certificates and qualifications shall be described accurately, including the identity of the awarding institution or examination body.
IT projects and business services
IT implementation, software development, procurement, staffing, school setup and consulting engagements should be governed by a written scope of work identifying:
- Deliverables and exclusions;
- Project milestones and acceptance criteria;
- Fees and payment schedule;
- Customer responsibilities and required access;
- Ownership and licensing of intellectual property;
- Confidentiality and data handling;
- Maintenance, warranty and support obligations; and
- Change requests, delays, suspension and termination.
In the absence of an agreed specification, ARFET shall not be deemed to have promised an unstated feature, integration, result or performance level.
Customer responsibilities
You must not:
- Provide false information or impersonate another person;
- Use ARFET services for unlawful purposes;
- Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data;
- Distribute malware or interfere with platform operations;
- Harass, threaten, exploit or discriminate against others;
- Cheat, plagiarise or facilitate examination malpractice;
- Record, publish or distribute private classes or participant information without appropriate authorisation; or
- Infringe intellectual property or confidentiality rights.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ARFET retains ownership of its original website content, branding, course materials, software, documentation, designs and other intellectual property.
Customers receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use materials supplied to them for the purpose for which they were provided, subject to applicable licence terms.
Customers must not reproduce, sell, distribute, publicly display or commercially exploit ARFET materials without permission, except where permitted by law.
Customer-owned information and third-party materials remain subject to their respective ownership rights.
Third-party services
ARFET may rely on third-party platforms, educational institutions, examination boards, technology suppliers, payment providers and other service providers.
Those providers may have separate terms and privacy notices. ARFET is not responsible for independent decisions or failures of third parties to the extent permitted by law, but remains responsible for its own contractual and legal obligations.
Service availability and changes
ARFET may update its website, materials, timetables, course delivery arrangements or technical systems for legitimate operational, educational, security or legal reasons.
Where a change materially affects a paid service, ARFET shall provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, an alternative arrangement, credit, refund or other remedy required by the applicable agreement or law.
Suspension and termination
ARFET may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address non-payment, serious misconduct, security threats, unlawful activity or a material breach of applicable terms.
Except where urgent action is necessary, ARFET should give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy a remediable breach.
Termination does not remove accrued payment obligations or rights to refunds and other remedies that survive or arise under applicable law.
Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including applicable liability for fraud, unlawful conduct or non-waivable consumer rights.
Subject to applicable law, ARFET is not responsible for indirect losses arising from events outside its reasonable control where those losses are not recoverable under the applicable agreement or law.
Customers retain any statutory remedies available for defective, misrepresented or undelivered services.
Complaints and disputes
Customers should first contact ARFET to seek an appropriate resolution.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue available remedies before a competent court or other authorised dispute-resolution body.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to mandatory laws applicable in other relevant jurisdictions.
Amendments
ARFET may revise these Terms to reflect changes in services, operations or law. Material changes shall be communicated appropriately.
A revision does not retrospectively remove accrued rights or alter an existing contract without a lawful basis.
